The unpleasant adventure of F-SARS: Policemen illegally arrest and detain innocent undergraduate who failed to unlock his phone in Lagos State.

An undergraduate whose name was withheld, was discriminately arrested by the Police on his refusal to unlock his phone.

This happened when the undergraduate and his friend were leaving home for his school in the morning.

The phone whose model was known to be an iPhone 8. The boy's phone was seized  and with immediate alacrity, the boy was reportedly carted away by the police from a street from his school in Computer Village.

The boy was shouting as he was being carted away but there was no one to come to his rescue.
To bridge the long story, he and his friend were detained at the police custody.

The boy was not permitted to put a call through to his dad or any members of the family as he was helpless in the presence of the police.

The Police officers were insisting he [undergraduate] unlocked the phone, but the stubborn boy looked hell bent on not giving in into the police insistence.

He was threatened to be in the police cell for a week but the  was never moved by their antics.
Other suspects in the police before the undergraduate's and his friend's arrest bailed themselves with a sum of fifteen thousand and they [Police] were expecting the boy to bail himself with the same amount the others were bailed.

The police officers seemed not ready to go down the set bail fee, as the boy could see it in their expression.

Just because of the boy's refusal to unlock the phone, the police accused him of stealing the phone and the other female student was also not allowed to make any calls.

After much wasted time, the two friends were released but were already late for s test at school.

The boy has reportedly thanked the Federal Special Anti Robbory  Sqaud , F-SARS, for delaying them from writing an important test.

The F-SARS has been implored to always do things in order to avoid infringement of the rights of the innocent citizens and also let peace reign across the nation.
