It was indeed a bright start to life at the Old Trafford Stadium as United put five pass Cardiff away from home.

Solskjaer, from his previous press conference, has promised to tell his players to express themselves freely on the pitch.

It is no doubt that his statement has helped the team follow following their comfortable victory over confused  and lost Cardiff City.



The flexibility Mourinho has failed to give to his team is what the new interim manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has given freely like the breathe of life.

United against Cardiff was an absolute blockbuster and Sir Alex Ferguson's rebirth. United seemed to have been freed from the shackles of defensive captivity that former boss, Mourinho has kept his team.

There was life, great flexibility, aggression, speed and good team spirit  in the squad. Their style of play has last been seen during the Legendary manager's [Sir Alex Ferguson] era. 

Martial and Lingard were switching positions, a scenario which never surfaced since Ferguson's sudden departure from the club.

It really showed Mourinho is practically, stylishly, technically and philosophically outdated. His tactics are just obsolete and cruel on the team.

Inability of the players to have freedom on the field of play has been a restriction to the progress and flexibility in the team.

No chance to express oneself except doing it the manager's way which is detrimental to the team.


For the very for first  time in times past, United had over 600 passes completed while Cardiff had over 120 passed completed.

Today's attendance has the biggest crowd [33,028] to watch a match in 42 years.


This was the first time United scored five goals since Sir Alex Ferguson's final game against Westbrom which ended 5-5.

United has scored 3 first half goals in a premier league away game for the first time since November 2017 against Watford.

Anthony Martial's strike against Cardiff City was the 500th premier league goal scored this season, in what was his 100th league game for United.

Martial has been directly involved in 70 goals for United in all competitions [45 goals, 25 assists], the most of any player for the Club since his debut.

It seems Sir Alex Ferguson's attacking spirit has been summoned to save the team from wallowing in great failure.

Today's performance with go down in the history of the interim manager following his ongoing stint at the Club.

SARS at it again: Police kills 20 year old lady and her friend in Ajegunle, Lagos State.

Truth to be told, the Nigerian Police  seems to be erupting war instead of being an exemplary entity of peace. They have reportedly become a thorn to all and sundry flesh in Nigeria. A murder case of a young man, Kolade Johnson, which is still reportedly fresh and Young in the hands of the Special Anti-robbery Squad, SARS, another ugly scenario has also surfaced in Ajegunle, in Lagos State. It was reported the another  Innocent youth, 20year old girl was shot dead by Police in Ajegunle while the boy that was with her was also shot & fighting for his life at the hospital. It was evidently reported the deceased did not commit any crime punishable under the law. This has come as a great threat to the peace of the nation at large. In due time, more reports will be brought to you following the unpleasant incident orchestrated by the heartless killers.
