Former Manchester united Striker, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has been appointed as interim manager of Manchester united for the second half of the 2018/2019 season.
This news came after Former United manager, Jose Mourinho, was sacked very early yesterday, after his two and half year stint at Old Trafford.
Mourinho's dismissal was evidently due the run of poor results of United in the fist half of this current campaign.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been summoned to continue from where the Portuguese stopped.
Ole who is popularly know as "Baby Face Assassin" has been known to be one of the best super substitute in the history of the club and also in the Premier league history.
He has always been known to start his games from the bench and turning things around for the betterment of the club.
During United's treble win in 1999, Solskjaer was brought in at the die minutes of the Champions league finals against Bayer Munich at the Nou Camp stadium, which he saw United through to the UEFA Champions league glory land.
In 2008, he became the club's reserve team manager before he later managed Molds Fk, and he won two league titles and the Norwegian cup.
He proceeded to manage Cardiff where he won nine games out of 30 games.
Solskjaer played 366 games and scored 126 goals for united between 1996 and 2007.
Solskjær will take charge of the first team with immediate effect and will remain in place while the club conducts a thorough recruitment process for a new full-time manager. He will be joined by Mike Phelan as first-team coach, working alongside Michael Carrick and Kieran McKenna.
