Farmers association denies contributing 100k each to support the Presidency.

The Farmers Association has debunked the claim the association has contributed a hundred thousand naira each to support the Presidency on his intention to go for a second term.

It was released few weeks ago that the Farmer association has  contributed a hundred thousand naira each to fund President Buhari's 2019 Presidential campaign scheduled for February.

It was reported that the huge impact of the incumbent President on the farmers has prompted them to donate such amount of money.

Subsequently, the news about contribution of an amount of money is not valid.

The association further said the farmers are not financially buoyant to contribute such exorbitant amount for the Presidency.

They also asked President Buhari to back up his claim with the evidence of deposits, and names of farmers that paid.

This was clarified by Mallam Sheu Buraimo said "No farmer in Nigeria of today can donate even one thousand naira.

"Because majority of them are dispced by Fulani herdsmenand Boko Haram continuous attack."

General election is just few days to go as the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, opens application for ex-corpers and undergraduates for the position of Adhoc staff to be used during the election.
