The Nigerian Defence Academy, NDA, has  disseminated an  information to  all applicants of the 71 Regular Course,  that entry examination earlier scheduled to hold on 13 April 2019 has been postponed. Reasons for the sudden decision to postpone the exercise was not unveiled but it has been narrowed down to some logistic reasons. Applicants are implored to patiently wait for the next release date for the entry examination. A new date will be communicated accordingly through newspapers and the academy's social media.

Following the horrendous collapse of the building that occurred at Ita Faji at Lagos State. The pathetic incidence has reportedly claimed the lives of over hundred students, some were also badly injured and have much blood through the huge collapse. Hundreds of residents have trooped to the Lagos Island General Hospital to donate blood voluntarily for victims of the three-storey building that  collapsed. Rescue mission is underway to safe the lives of  people who are still stocked up in the collapsed building. Numerous sympathies have been sent from many members of the public and they hoped this dismal and lugubrious event does not reoccur.

A young man, Bala Haruna,  from Bauchi State, who vowed to drink gutter water if Buhari wins the election has finally died.  Prior to the just concluded Presidential election, Bala has vowed to his friends to drink gutter water if President Buhari returns as the president elect.  The utmost ignorance on his part following the announcement of president Buhari has led to his untimely death. It was reported that Haruna slept inside the stinking gutter for ten minutes and and drank from the decaying gutter. He was rushed to a hospital after complaining about abdominal pains & stooling of blood, After series of tests, it was found out that he had Gastrointestinal bleeding. The deceased is expected to be buried at his parents residence. We hope the members of the public can learn from the ignorance of the highest order inculcated by Bala. May his soul rest in perfect peace.

Kaduna State Governor, Nadir Ahmad Elrufai has announced the selection of Dr. Hadiza Balarabe as his running mate for the 2019 general elections. The choice of Dr. Hadiza Balarabe  as the running mate continues Malam Nasir El-rufai's deliberate policy of promoting women. There are five female commissioners in his 14-person cabinet, a feat not attained even by the governors that had much larger cabinets. This is first time in the history of Kaduna State that a major political party will select a female as running mate. The incumbent Deputy Governor, Arch. An anonymous murderer has raped and stabbed an Ondo state indigene, Ajila Oluwaseun Motunrayo, to death at her mother's residence at Akure. Oluwaseun was born April 11, 1998, to the family of Mr and Mrs Ajila. She attended Adetola nursery and primary school, Akure, Ondo state. She later proceeded to the St Louis Grammar School, Akure, where she concluded her secondary education. She was a Professional model and usher, and a graduate of Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo in Ondo state. She was also into buying and selling of goods to make ends meet.
