The high-rated forward is a new name to be linked to United this summer, hence why we’re questioning how legit the story is considering the club has so little time to get any potential deal over the line.

It sounds like now there are targets either heading elsewhere that United are clearly not serious about, so let’s link them with the next big time or someone that will get just as many clicks.

The 25-year-old is one of Bilbao’s star players but there hasn’t been enough reported interest from United to believe the rumours.

We expect some extravagant rumours that suggest United will make a number of late moves from 5pm tomorrow – but we could be wrong if Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Ed Woodward have a trick up their sleeves.

United were suddenly linked with Tottenham Hotspur’s Christian Eriksen, although it has been claimed by The Guardian that the club have already decided to back away from talks after discovering he’d prefer a move to Spain.
