Governor presents five Hillux vehicles to five Army Officers.

The Executive Governor of Borno State, Kashim Shettima, has commissioned and presented the keys of five G40 IVM Hillux vehicles to five deserving Army warrant officers.

The presentation was based on officers who distinguished themselves in the course of serving their fatherland.

The Hillux vehicles were presented during the Chief of Army Staff 2018 Annual Conference which was held in Maiduguri, the state Capital of Borno State.

The Presidency was heavily present at the conference following the recent attack which led to the death of over 140 soldiers.

The Army officers who were presented the Hillux gift were seen standing in front of their vehicles.

This compensation is expected to boost the diligence and dedication of other Army officers to diligently serve their fatherland.

Governor Shettima has been applauded for his benevolence as this will raise the morale among the Nigerian Army.

Sad!!!! Corp member falls from moving commercial bus in Lagos.

At about 9:45pm on 15/04/19 a corp member fell from a moving commercial bus (danfo) along LASU-ISHERI road Lagos. He sustained severe head injury and was lying by the road side. A few eye witnessed at the scene of the incident assisted in driving him down to a nearby hospital at (Alimosho General hospital, Igando) where he was given first aid treatment. He was thereafter referred to LASUTH for further medical management that same night due to the nature of the injury he sustained. However, no one has been unable to contact the relatives or friends. Mobile phone on him can't be accessed (passworded) and has no means of identification on him. We hope the young man recovers fast from the severe head injury sustained during the ugly incident.
