Ondo State Governor inaugurates interim caretaker committee Chairmen.

Ondo state governor, Odunayo Akeredolu, SAN,Akeredolu also has inaugurated the newly appointed interim Caretaker Committee Chairmen of the eighteen Local Government Councils in the state.

Akeredolu also charged the Council Chairmen to always put their people at the centre of their actions and activities.

The event was held at the Governor's office at Alagbaka, Akure, at 4pm.

The Council Chairmen representing the eighteen Local Government were present and the oath of office was taken without no further ado.

It was previously released by the state government that the local government election will commence on December 1, 2018 but the reverse has been the case as the governor has today, inaugurated interim caretaker committee chairmen.

With this latest development, the conduction of local government election in the state has gone to a journey of no return in Akeredolu's administration.

Governor tours several Local Government Areas to ensure peace and stability amid ongoing crisis

Kaduna Governor, Nasir Ahmad El-rufai has visited His Royal Highness, Dr. Danjuma Barde, the Sa-gbagyi, to thank and commended him for leading without discrimination, and for being a true leader in the time of crisis.
