President Muhammadu Buhari is delighted to learn about the remarkable act of honesty of Abubakar Hassan, a taxi driver in Abuja, who returned valuable property forgotten in his car by a passenger.
Despite the passenger's hope of not being able to trace the forgotten property, Mr Hassan went out of his way to seek her, and returned her possessions intact.
The Presidency has commended Mr Hassan for his outstanding conduct, which will be an example for every Nigerian, from cab driver to government officials.
The cab driver's behavior has been likened to be a throwback to Nigeria of some decades, before corruption and greed among public official became accepted as normal, and polluted our national values.
The President appreciated Mr Hassan for inadvertently making himself available as a shinning example of the Nigeria that this administration has battled and continued to battle for.
A Nigeria where our national resources are not appreciated by private individuals, who have no consideration for anyone beyond themselves and their private interests.
The Presidency has been bluntly criticized by the general public that he only attends to unimportant issues, he was told to give listening ears to ASUU, in order to indefinitely suspend the strike.
