"INEC has appointed Buhari's niece as Chairman Collation Centre for the upcoming election," PDP accuses.

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has openly accused the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, for the appointment of the Presidency's niece, Amina Zakari, as the Chairman, Collation Centre for the 2019 Presidential election which is scheduled for 16 February, 2019.

This has been termed as the another heinous machination by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to subvert the will of the people and rig for President Buhari.

PDP said "Nigerians will recall that we have been raising flags on how Buhari, the All Progressive Congress, APC, and the Electoral Commission, INEC, have been seeking ways to compromise our electoral processes and open the way for allocation of fictitious votes to Buhari.

"The Peoples Democratic Party PCO outrightly, vehemently, and unequivocally rejects, in its entirety, the appointment of Mrs. Amina Zakari, President Buhari's blood relation, as the head of Collation of results, in the same election which her uncle, President Buhari, is a candidate.

"The appointment of Mrs. Zakari, who had been openly accused as being the link between the Electoral Commission and Buhari in their scheme to rig the election, for Buhari, constitute a direct violence against the Presidential election and the Peoples Democratic Party will not accept it.

"This is the same Mrs. Zakari, who headed the Information Communication Technology, ICT department of the Commission at the time that department was accused of manipulating the INEC voters register to accommodate fictitious, underage and alien voters, particularly, in remote areas across the country.

"In appointing Mrs. Zakari to head the Collation of this Presidential election, Prof. Yakubu has confirmed that he has been compromised and that he has already succumbed to the pressure by the Presidency and his party to open the way for self-succession of President Buhari."

The Peoples Democratic Party has has therefore called on all Nigerians and National Peace Committee, NPC, to note that with the appointment of Mrs. Aminu Zakari, as head of the Collation of Presidential election.

It was finally said the Electoral Commission Chairman is setting the stage for for a very huge political crisis.
