Former United, Chelsea and Real Madrid manager, Jose Mourinho, has reportedly rejected the chance to become the Portuguese Club, Benfica, new manager.
Mourinho was sacked by United Board following his woeful performance of the Club and the enormous number of goals conceded [29] by United within 17 matches. The worst ever than goals conceded than Moyes and Van Gaal at the Club.
The manager was sacked on 18 December, 2018, following the table toppers and rivals, Liverpool 3-1 defeat, a record which last surfaced in 2011.
The Club Board also decided not to support the manager in the chase a new centre Defender, Harry Maguire, during the last summer, when he already had the likes of Marcos Dojo, Eric Bailly, Victor Lindelof, Chris Smalling, and Phil Jones at his disposal.
Portuguese Club, Benfica, has made enquiries for the availability of the manager, but Mourinho has vehemently rejected the offer of the Club.
This reason for the refusal was not revealed by the former United manager. It was also predicted that there is a great possibility Mourinho is heading back to Manage Real Madrid who is presently wallowing in a dismal and lugubrious pool of defeat in the absence of the Portuguese Superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo.
