A Senior lecturer, Obiora Okonkwo Ph.D, from the Plateau State University, has applauded and lauded the relentless efforts, after he and his family were left stranded at Nasarawa State enroute Jos.
Fortunately, it was coincidental with the routine patrol of Inspector Friday and his team, as they were helped to tow his vehicle to a safe location.
The inspector directed one of his men to keep an eye on the man's vehicle, the lecturer and his family were later ushered to a guest house in Akwanga.
The inspector and his team came the next morning to find out how the family fared and went ahead to get an automobile mechanic to repair the towed vehicle.
It was evidently reported that the inspector and his team rejected taking a snapshot with the lecturer but later took them after several plea from the lecturer.
The pictures were taken during the traumatic experience of the family.
The lecturer gave reason for the snapshot. He said "I told them even if their superior don't promote them at least Nigerians will see their sacrificial service."
The general public never believed the lecturer but with several evidences, they later concurred and applauded the Nigerian Police Force for the humanitarian service.
