A Secondary school student, Akin-Alamu Akinfolami Olumide, of All Souls' High School, Bodija, Ibadan, Oyo State, sat for the last year's May/June West African Examination Council, WAEC, has reportedly bagged a whooping eight As and one Bs.

Akinfolami has in times past, given given himself a nickname, Akinfelami. His love for the Legendary singer, Fela Kuti, has prompted him to bear such nickname.

The young and promising boy confirmed that he has reportedly turned down several scholarships, but the reasons for turning down the scholarships was not disclosed by the prospect.

Akinfelami said "So 2018 was really a wonderful year for me. God achieved a a lot through me and I am really grateful.

"I achieved to the extent that I was turning down scholarships. 2019 ain't ready for me. I am going out stronger."

Akinfolami has been applauded and showered several accolades for his huge success in the examination and has also been wished a greater future ahead.

Some critics have attacked the prospect, asking him if the result was really from his efforts.

But Akinfolami replied saying "I really dont have anything to prove but my school doesn't offer dubs. It is a mission school. You can ask anywhere."

He was later advised to process University of Ilorin, Unilorin, for a faster calendar years. But he was made to understand the stress he is going to contend with, during his stay at the institution.
