INEC Update: INEC promises to bring Permanent Voter's Cards very close to the people's abode for collection.

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC,  is bringing the Permanent Voter Card (PVC) close to you for Collection

The Permanent Voter's cards has been scheduled by the Electoral Commission starting  from 16th-21st January 2019.



Those who are yet to get theirs can collect the Permanent Voter's Card at  their Ward/Registration Area  from 9am-3pm.

Thereafter, the collection will be at Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC  Local Government Area offices until February 8, 2019 which will be the last day.

The commission has emphatically confirmed that voters who fail to go and collect their Permanent Voter's Card will not be allowed to exercise their franchise.

The Commission, who recently declared the Presidential election and House of Representative election to be done on 16 February, 2019, are reportedly prepared to make the voting atmosphere a friendly through the assistance if some security agencies.



The Commission was also attacked by the opposition party, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, for dancing to the music of the Presidency and the  ruling party, All Progressive Congress, APC, but the INEC boss, Yakubu Mahmoud, has reportedly debunk the spreading rumor.
