The Kwara State All Progressive Congress, APC Governorship candidate, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, was nearly murdered today at at Ode Alfa Nda area of the state capital.
The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Gunmen have opened fire on Kwara All Progressive Congress supporters at the rally held today despite an earlier reported assassination attempt on Rahman.
The attack on the Governorship candidate was evidently orchestrated by Kwara Peoples Democratic Party, PDP thugs.
This unpleasant attack has raised eyebrows on the inadequate security in the State.
The Party's Campaign vehicles were vandalized as the windscreens were broken.
The Oppressors looked so desperate to do anything nastly following the attack.
Abdulrahman and his driver escaped the trap of a cold death by leaving the vehicles behind at the ugly scene.
The security agencies are also implored to be at their top gear to quell the incessant attacks of some political thugs of some various parties.
This act has reportedly been described as despicable and disheartening by the general public.
The wounded victims have been immediately taken to the hospital for proper treatment follow the injuries sustained during the attack.
The security agencies are hereby implored to intervene in this political brouhaha flooding the State.
