Saraki joins other PDP leaders to protest the outcome of the Osun Gubernatorial election.

Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki has joined other leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to protest the outcome of the recently concluded Osun gubernatorial election.

The Osun gubernatorial election was previously scheduled for September 22, 2018 but was on the same day declared inconclusive by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, in which the Ademola Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party mathematically won.

Subsequently, INEC declared a date for the Osun gubernatorial re-run election which was also scheduled for September 27, 2018 in which the All Progressive Congress candidate, Oyetola, was declared the winner.

This declaration has not gone down well the Peoples Democratic Party as they have staged a protest regarding the outcome of the election and to demand for the continued independence of INEC.

Saraki has been sighted on a Cabstar vehicle with other PDP leaders protesting from the party headquarters.
