Police fire tear gas at the Senate President and other PDP leaders at Abuja (see photos)

The Police have fired tear gas at the Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki and Peoples Democratic Party leaders at Abuja.



This incident happened when the Senate President and other PDP leaders were protesting and demonstrating against  what was called election rigging in Osun state gubernatorial election.

The protest was to show a high level of dissatisfaction regarding the announcement of All Progressive Congress, APC, candidate, Odetola as winner of the re-run election which was conducted on September 27, after an inconclusive declaration on September 22, 2018.



The firing of tear gas has been as a result of the high degree of disorderliness on the part of the Peoples Democratic Party leaders.

Sad!!!! Corp member falls from moving commercial bus in Lagos.

At about 9:45pm on 15/04/19 a  corp member fell from a moving commercial bus (danfo) along LASU-ISHERI road Lagos.  He sustained severe head injury and was lying by the road side.  A few  eye witnessed at the scene of the incident assisted in driving him down to a nearby hospital at (Alimosho General hospital, Igando) where he was given first aid treatment. He was thereafter referred to LASUTH for further medical management that same night due to the nature of the injury he sustained. However, no one  has been unable to contact the relatives or friends. Mobile phone on him  can't be accessed (passworded) and has no means of identification on him.   We hope the young man recovers fast from the severe head injury sustained during the ugly incident.
