"I have been asked to withdraw from contesting," APC House of Representative aspirant tells supporters.

An aspirant who is believed to be one of the members of the All Progressive Congress, APC, running for the position of the House of Representative has been asked to withdraw.

The aspirant whose name is Toke Benson Awoyinka, is believed to be representing the Ikeja Federal Constituency under the umbrella of the All Progressive Congress.

She said "I was told to withdraw for the progress and stability of our great Party.

"As a loyal party member to the core, I respect and stand by the decision of the party and our National leader.

"I urge every party member that has been committed, loyal and faithful to my Political journey to go out this morning and vote for Hon. James Abiodun Faleke as the representative of Ikeja Federal Constituency.

Toke finally said "I am grateful for the love, support and prayers of everyone. This has been a worthwhile journey. We shall remain committed to the ideals of the All Progressive Congress, we shall stand in the unity and progress of Ikeja, of Lagos and of Nigeria."

Toke Benson Awoyinka has been greatly saluated for her immeasurable maturity as she had not made it a do or die matter.
