Chief Justice expresses optimism that synergy between National Judicial Institutes and EFCC will be productive.

Chief Justice of Nigeria, Walter Onnoghen, has expressed optimism that the synergy between the Nigerian Judicial Institute, JDI, and Economic and Financial Crime Commission, EFCC will continue to record phenomenal achievement in the ongoing fight against corruption.

Walter said "it is my utmost belief that the synergy between the National Judicial Institute, NJI and Economic and Financial Crime Commission, EFCC, will continue to record phenomenal achievements, as well as being part of an extensive effort in the fight against corruption."

Walter made this know at the opening of 3-day workshop for judges organized by the commission and Nigerian Judicial Institute.

SARS at it again: Police kills 20 year old lady and her friend in Ajegunle, Lagos State.

Truth to be told, the Nigerian Police seems to be erupting war instead of being an exemplary entity of peace. They have reportedly become a thorn to all and sundry flesh in Nigeria. A murder case of a young man, Kolade Johnson, which is still reportedly fresh and Young in the hands of the Special Anti-robbery Squad, SARS, another ugly scenario has also surfaced in Ajegunle, in Lagos State. It was reported the another Innocent youth, 20year old girl was shot dead by Police in Ajegunle while the boy that was with her was also shot & fighting for his life at the hospital. It was evidently reported the deceased did not commit any crime punishable under the law. This has come as a great threat to the peace of the nation at large. In due time, more reports will be brought to you following the unpleasant incident orchestrated by the heartless killers.
