President set to commission the new International terminal of the Port Harcourt International Airport, FAAN reports.

President Muhammadu Buhari is set to commission the new International terminal of the Port Harcourt International Airport.

The commission date has been scheduled for Thursday, October 25, 2018.

The new International terminal has been reportedly built by the China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation.

The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria has craved the presence of the Grand Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, President Buhari to commission the new project.

A critic has heavily criticized the newly built International terminal by saying "Why should Government use our money to renovate an airport that has been concessioned out to a private individuals to make profit?."

The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria has immediately responded that the airport was built from the scratch and it has not been concessioned to private individuals.
