Finance Minister, Zainab Shamsuna Ahmed, is presently attending a United Nations meeting on the Sahel, with the theme: "Enhancing prosperity of women and youth in the Sahel through climate resilience agriculture and rural livelihood,"
At the end of the meeting, participants are expected to recommit to the successful implementation of the United Nations support plan for the Sahel and Long term stability of the region.
The general public have made the Finance Minister know that the effect of the meeting must be seen in women and youth in the nooks and crannies of the country.
They said the benefits are mostly restricted to Abuja and other Northern States.
