Former Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Peter Fayose has been released after meeting the bail conditions of the Economic and Financial Crime Commission, EFCC.
He is currently facing trial for alleged money laundering and abuse of office. He has been released after two weeks in the custody of the Economic and Financial Crime Commission.
Fayose was apprehended by the commission shortly after he handed over to the newly inaugurated Governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi of the All Progressive Congress, APC.
Prior to the arrest, Fayose has intended going to meet with the Commission at their office on October 16th, 2018 by 1pm in Abuja.
Fayose is expected to return to court on November 16, 2018.
