President Buhari commiserates with the family of a late humanitarian worker

President Buhari has paid his deepest condolences to the children and  family of the midwife and humanitarian worker, Saifura Hussaini Ahmed Khorsa who was killed by the Boko Haram terrorists.

She (Saifura) was also a member of International Committee of the Red Cross and UNICEF.

Buhari said"We will continue to do everything possible  to ensure  the safe return of all  of our people held by Book Haram. This is vow we intend to fully keep. 

"I appeal to  our international partners and friends to continue to support us, even as we redouble our effort.

"In the last three years , the efforts of our gallant military and intelligence agencies have resulted in the freeing of thousands of hostages, including some of the Chibok girls and most of the Dapchi girls. Let me assure you again that no one including  Leah Sharibu will be left behind."
