Buratai briefs President Buhari on counter terrorism and counter insurgency effort in the North East (see photos)

Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. TY Buratai, has briefed President Buhari on 21 September, 2018 on the counter terrorism and counter insurgency effort in the North Eastern part of Nigeria.

The President was impressed with the decisive response of the Chief of Army Staff to the initial setbacks in the North East.

Buhari also commended the troops efforts in dealing with the bandits in the North West especially in Zamfara state.

Buratai seized the opportunity to pledge an unalloyed loyalty to the officers and men of the Nigerian Army to the Commander-in-Chief of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

He (Buratai) also assured President Buhari of the Nigerian Army's resolve to continuously protect the territorial integrity of the country as enshrined in the Nigerian Constitution.

SARS at it again: Police kills 20 year old lady and her friend in Ajegunle, Lagos State.

Truth to be told, the Nigerian Police seems to be erupting war instead of being an exemplary entity of peace. They have reportedly become a thorn to all and sundry flesh in Nigeria. A murder case of a young man, Kolade Johnson, which is still reportedly fresh and Young in the hands of the Special Anti-robbery Squad, SARS, another ugly scenario has also surfaced in Ajegunle, in Lagos State. It was reported the another Innocent youth, 20year old girl was shot dead by Police in Ajegunle while the boy that was with her was also shot & fighting for his life at the hospital. It was evidently reported the deceased did not commit any crime punishable under the law. This has come as a great threat to the peace of the nation at large. In due time, more reports will be brought to you following the unpleasant incident orchestrated by the heartless killers.
