6 reasons why the Federal Government has implemented Trade Moni

Trade Moni is a Federal Government Empowerment Scheme that is aimed at alleviation of poverty in Nigeria by empowering petty traders and artisans.

The Buhari led Administration has put this programme in place to meet the needs of people who do not have a means of livelihood and to reduce the idleness of Nigerians.

This programme has commenced in some States (Kogi, Oyo, Calabar, Abuja) to mention but a fewand many have benefited from the empowerment scheme.

The Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo has commissioned the programme in the aforementioned states.

Many are in the dark as regards the need for this programme. So we have taken our time to explicit the purpose of the programme.

Reasons for Trademoni Programme

1.) To give loan to people who are in dire need of capital to start and also grow their business.

2.) To eliminate the stress being faced by traders who are unable to access the bank loans.

3.) To reduce the level of high crime rates among the citizens of the nation.

4.) To break  poverty cycle  among Nigerians and also give people the hope of living. To reduce corporate begging on the street.

5.) To avoid traditional traders from being neglected and discriminated by bank officials.

6.) To put smiles on the faces of 2 million Nigerians.
