Breaking News: Gallant Troops of 222 Battalions neutralize Book Haram Terrorists (see photos)

The gallant troops of 222 Battalion have neutralized the Book Haram terriorists. Reports just reaching us confirmed that the troops of 21 Brigade Led by Brigade Commander on a clearance patrol in support of Operations Rainbow were ambushed by Boko Haram terriorists along Maiduguri Bama Axis at about 11am this morning.

In the scenario, there was serious exchange of gunfire. The gallant troops of 222 Battalion were reportedly high in morale as a result of the just concluded assurance visit to the theatre of of Operation by the Chief Of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai and they successfully cleared the ambushed.

As a result, 1× GPMG and 2× AK47 and several rounds of ammunitions belonging to the terrorists were recovered.

As at the time of filing this report, troops were still exploiting the the general areas in search of some of the Boki Haram terrorists who escaped with gunshot wounds.

Sad!!!! Corp member falls from moving commercial bus in Lagos.

At about 9:45pm on 15/04/19 a corp member fell from a moving commercial bus (danfo) along LASU-ISHERI road Lagos. He sustained severe head injury and was lying by the road side. A few eye witnessed at the scene of the incident assisted in driving him down to a nearby hospital at (Alimosho General hospital, Igando) where he was given first aid treatment. He was thereafter referred to LASUTH for further medical management that same night due to the nature of the injury he sustained. However, no one has been unable to contact the relatives or friends. Mobile phone on him can't be accessed (passworded) and has no means of identification on him. We hope the young man recovers fast from the severe head injury sustained during the ugly incident.
