The Police and other security agents have prevented voters from exercising their franchise in Osun state.
As today marks the scheduled date for the re-run of the inconclusive election declared by Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, on 22 September, 2018.
From the results collated by the Commission, it was crystal clear as announced by INEC that the Peoples Democratic Party candidate, Ademola Adeleke was the winner.
In the aftermath, the election was declared inconclusive by the Commission.
Party agents too have also been prevented from monitoring the various polling booths. It was said that the All Progressive Congress' thugs threatened the Peoples Democratic Party voters not to go near any polling booths.
People were also seen being maltreated by some security agents.
The All Progressive Congress was also accused of distributing N100,000 each to buy voters votes. Though for now, we see that as speculation as there has not been any pictorial evidences as regards the accusation.
