Tuesday and Wednesday declared public holidays by the Federal Government

The Federal Government has declared Tuesday, August 21,2018 and Wednesday, August 21,2018 as public holidays in order to celebrate the 2018 Eld-el Kabir.

The Minister for Interior, Retired, Lt.-Gen.Abdulrahman Dambazau made the announcement on Thursday in the Federal Capital, Abuja in a statement released by Dr. Mohammed Umar, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry.

While Dambazau was wishing Nigerians a happy Eld-el Kabir celebration, he urged the general public to imbibe the spirit of love and sacrifice for the unity and the forward moving of Nigeria.

He further urged Nigerians both at home and abroad to render a helping hand to the administration of President Buhari in his quest to bring peace and unity to the nation.

Governor tours several Local Government Areas to ensure peace and stability amid ongoing crisis

Kaduna Governor, Nasir Ahmad El-rufai has visited His Royal Highness, Dr. Danjuma Barde, the Sa-gbagyi, to thank and commended him for leading without discrimination, and for being a true leader in the time of crisis. El-rufai also visited Kasuwan Magani, Kajuru Local Government. He reassured residents of the state Government's commitment to ensuring peace and stability.
