The speaker of the house of representative, Rt. Hon. Yakubu Dogara rejoices and wishes the general public a happy Sallah celebrations and advises them to how to what should be done to bring about great development of Nigeria.

The speaker said"While rejoicing with our Muslim brothers and sisters on this auspicious Eid el-Kabir, which symbolizes sacrifice and obedience, I wish to enjoin all people of good will to be steadfast in love for one another and demonstrate renowned commitment to the Nigerian project."

Dogara also urged religious leaders to make maximum use of this season to preach peace, pnity, and patience as the nation is in a critical Political crossroad.

He said"I also urge our religious leaders to tale advantage of the season and preach peace, unity, and patience, especially now that the country is in a critical political crossroadwith the electioneering process gaining momentum as the 2019 general elections draw nearer."
