Plateau State Government absorbs 2016 Npower beneficiaries as teachers

The Plateau State Government has expressed readiness to absorb four thousand, eight hundred and fifty (4850) Npower volunteers serving as teachers in the state on the expiration of their programme later in the year.

The Executive Chairman of the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Matthew Sule, confirmed this on Wednesday in Jos.

This development will serve as great relief to the beneficiaries of the state while beneficiaries of other states are expecting their permanence in the Civil Service.

SARS at it again: Police kills 20 year old lady and her friend in Ajegunle, Lagos State.

Truth to be told, the Nigerian Police seems to be erupting war instead of being an exemplary entity of peace. They have reportedly become a thorn to all and sundry flesh in Nigeria. A murder case of a young man, Kolade Johnson, which is still reportedly fresh and Young in the hands of the Special Anti-robbery Squad, SARS, another ugly scenario has also surfaced in Ajegunle, in Lagos State. It was reported the another Innocent youth, 20year old girl was shot dead by Police in Ajegunle while the boy that was with her was also shot & fighting for his life at the hospital. It was evidently reported the deceased did not commit any crime punishable under the law. This has come as a great threat to the peace of the nation at large.
