Federal Government begins Lagos-Ibadan railway construction (see photos)

The Federal Government has began the construction of the Lagos-Ibadan railway as part of the ongoing projects in the nation.

The Buhari led administration has began the railway construction in order to link major cities with modern railway.

The construction has enveloped eight thousand workers for the ongoing project.

The railway comprises ten stations, twenty four million square meters of earthwork, three hundred and fourteen kilometers main rail (double track), sixty kilometers station rail, and 1.2 million square meters of ballast.

On the contrary, many Nigerians criticized the ongoing railway project by saying Nigeria deserves more than the railway construction.

SARS at it again: Police kills 20 year old lady and her friend in Ajegunle, Lagos State.

Truth to be told, the Nigerian Police seems to be erupting war instead of being an exemplary entity of peace. They have reportedly become a thorn to all and sundry flesh in Nigeria. A murder case of a young man, Kolade Johnson, which is still reportedly fresh and Young in the hands of the Special Anti-robbery Squad, SARS, another ugly scenario has also surfaced in Ajegunle, in Lagos State. It was reported the another Innocent youth, 20year old girl was shot dead by Police in Ajegunle while the boy that was with her was also shot & fighting for his life at the hospital. It was evidently reported the deceased did not commit any crime punishable under the law. This has come as a great threat to the peace of the nation at large.
