Wife of the Presidency visits recuperating victims of Itafaji building collapse.

The Nigerian first lady, Aisha Buhari, has visited the survivors of the Itafaji building collapse at the Lagos State Teaching Hospital, Lagos Island and Gbagada General Hospitals for their unrelenting efforts on the recuperating victims.


Altruistic Lagosians have willingly gone to the hospitals where the victims are being admitted to donate blood for the resuscitation of Itafaji victims.

During the First lady's visit to Lagos she said "Today, I visited recuperating victims of the Itafaji building collapse in Lagos. It is sad that many school children lost their lives.


"I remain thankful to God and acknowledge the effort of Lagos state government, the managements of Lagos Island General Hospital, LUTH Idi Araba and Gbagada General Hospital. 

"It is heartwarming to see that the survivors are recuperating well. 
We pray to God to grant the families of the departed children the fortitude to bear the loss.

"While we pray for complete recovery and healing for the children still on admission at various hospitals in Lagos.


"Also, I commend the Lagos State Governor for taking the bold step to prevent future occurrences."
