Buhari sends birthday wishes to Obasanjo as he clocks 82.

The Presidency has congratulated the former President of Nigeria and Peoples Democratic Party, PDP supporter, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo ad he clocks 82 years.

During Obasanjo's birthday, Buhari said "As he celebrates his 82nd Birthday Anniversary, I wish Chief Olusegun Obasanjo more good health, knowledge and wisdom in the service of Nigeria and humanity.

"The former President is a passionate and great patriot who deserves accolades for his immeasurable contributions to our democracy and national unity.

"Regardless of our political differences, I still hold him in the highest esteem because his contributions to the development of Nigeria overshadow those differences."

Other top dignitaries of Nigeria also congratulated the former Nigerian President.

Happy 82nd birthday to one of the greatest leader in our history as a country, HE Chief Olusegun A.O Obasanjo is an enigma, a nation builder and a statesman by all standard.
