Ondo State Update: Akeredolu Set To Rename OSUSTECH After Late Governor Agagu

Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu has disclosed that Ondo State University of Science and Technology (OSUSTECH) will be renamed after late Olusegun Agagu, former governor of the state. 


Akeredolu disclosed this during a thank-you tour of Okitipupa Local Government Area of the state on Tuesday 19th March, 2019.

He urged the two newly - elected House of Assembly members representing Okitipupa 1 & 2 constituencies to move the motion for renaming the university. 


OSUSTECH was brought to the Okitipupa by the Agagu during his regime as the State Governor under the flagship of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

This motion has been moved to honor the good works of the late governor at Ondo South.


We hope the change of name will not cause any brouhaha among the students of the institution.
