NLC, pensioners endorse Governor Sani Bello.

The second term bid of Governor Abubakar Sani Bello got a big boost earlier today when the organised labour and pensioners in the state endorsed him for the March 9 governorship election in the state.

The state Chairman of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC), Comrade Idris Ndako conveyed this cheering decision to the governor at the Labour House in Minna, during an interactive session with the organised labour and pensioners in the state. 

The labour leader said the endorsement of the All Progressives Congress (APC) flag bearer by the congress was informed by the pro-labour policies, programmes and cordial industrial relationship with the administration since 2015. 


He also said that their support for Governor Sani Bello’s aspiration was in line with the directive of the national leadership of the NLC to all states councils to ensure that the ambition of labour friendly governors seeking re-election are actualized. 

Comrade Ndako who reeled out the policies and programmes of Governor Sani Bello since 2015 that are labour friendly assured the Governor of the resolve of the organised labour to ensure his victory at the polls come Saturday.

Sad!!!! Corp member falls from moving commercial bus in Lagos.

At about 9:45pm on 15/04/19 a  corp member fell from a moving commercial bus (danfo) along LASU-ISHERI road Lagos.  He sustained severe head injury and was lying by the road side.  A few  eye witnessed at the scene of the incident assisted in driving him down to a nearby hospital at (Alimosho General hospital, Igando) where he was given first aid treatment. He was thereafter referred to LASUTH for further medical management that same night due to the nature of the injury he sustained. However, no one  has been unable to contact the relatives or friends. Mobile phone on him  can't be accessed (passworded) and has no means of identification on him.   We hope the young man recovers fast from the severe head injury sustained during the ugly incident.
