Niger State Government begins feeding scheme in public secondary schools.

As part of efforts to improving the welfare of students in public schools,  Governor Abubakar Sani Bello yesterday flagged-off the pilot scheme of the Niger State Government’s initiative to compliment the administration's whole School Renovation Approach. 

The scheme, tagged "Lolo Bellefull" is an effort directed at accommodating the provision of decent meal for boarding House students in public schools. 

Kicking off the scheme at Maryam Babangida Girls Science College, Minna on Wednesday, Governor Sani Bello reiterated that he was committed to ensuring that boarding students in public schools in the state get access to adequate, decent and qualitative food. 


Governor Sani Bello had lunch with the students of MBGSC, expressed optimism in the ability of the scheme to fulfill the purpose for which it was initiated, promised to look into the challenges that may be a hindrance to the success of the program.
