Due to the heightened level of violence and aggressive attempts at destroying lives and properties during the the House of Assembly election in the State, the Ondo State Government has instituted a mandatory curfew in Oba Akoko until further notice.
This brouhaha surfaced during the election process as vehicles were vandalized and the atmosphere of the town was filled with enormous Katzenjammer.
The Market in Oba Akoko was dismantled and everywhere looked unkempt. Security agencies have immediately swung into action by curtailing the unpleasant atmosphere.
Following the announced curfew in Oba Akoko, the route that leads to akungba Akoko and its diaspora have been declared blocked for the purpose of serenity and safety.
The people residing in the town are expected to stay indoor to avoid an uncontrollable dismal scenario.
Military men are presently in the town to maintain the peace and to curtail excesses from the indigenes of the town.
