EFCC apprehends APC agent for holding huge amount for vote buying.

Agent of Emmanuel Jimeh, the gubernatorial candidate of the APC in Benue state arrested with huge cash by the Economic and Financial Crime Commission, EFCC. He was arrested at the North Bank Area, Makurdi.

The bundles of the currency were arranged orderly as there were new naira notes present and packed in two sack bags.

It is so disheartening that vote buying has spread all over the nation like a wide spread fire.

Vote buying has eaten deep into the instant consciousness of the poor electorates, they become morally and intellectually powerless when it comes to receiving peanuts from the corrupt political leaders.

We hope the agent is made to face the wrath of the law in order to serve as scapegoat for others.

SARS at it again: Police kills 20 year old lady and her friend in Ajegunle, Lagos State.

Truth to be told, the Nigerian Police seems to be erupting war instead of being an exemplary entity of peace. They have reportedly become a thorn to all and sundry flesh in Nigeria. A murder case of a young man, Kolade Johnson, which is still reportedly fresh and Young in the hands of the Special Anti-robbery Squad, SARS, another ugly scenario has also surfaced in Ajegunle, in Lagos State. It was reported the another Innocent youth, 20year old girl was shot dead by Police in Ajegunle while the boy that was with her was also shot & fighting for his life at the hospital. It was evidently reported the deceased did not commit any crime punishable under the law. This has come as a great threat to the peace of the nation at large.
