Following the fresh attack of the deadly and notorious Boko Haram terrorists in Borno State which has reportedly claimed the lives of 44 brave soldiers and nine farmers has been of a great concern to the Senate President.
Dr. Bukola said that the Senate has directed its committee on army to pay condolence visit to the families of the dead.
He finally said "We are all aware that a few day ago we lost 44 brave soldiers of the Nigerian Army in Northern Borno. We must pay our respects to these brave men that have sacrificed and paid the ultimate sacrifice for our own safety and peace in our country."
The general public have supported the decision of the Senate President and his fellow Senators as regards the condolence visit. They have perceived the move as a giant one on the part of the Senate President.
