President Buhari has departed the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, for Chad.
After a brief meeting with the Chief of Army Staff in Borno State, following a massive death of over 140 gallant soldiers.
The President departed to Chad this morning to chair a consultation of Head of State and Government of the Lake Chad Basin Commission (LCBC).
The purpose of the visitation is to review the security situation in the region and intensify the efforts to end the insurgency.
He convened the meeting in his capacity as the Chairman of the Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Lake Chad Basin Commission.
Buhari has previously reassured the nation and the Nigerian Army that he will do everything to ensure peace reigns in the nation.
Nigerians hope the Presidency comes back with positive result from his visit to Lake Chad.
