APC Gubernatorial flag bearer congratulates new governor during his inauguration.

Lagos State Governorship flag bearer of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Babajide Sanwo-olu, has recently congratulated the new governor of Osun State, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola, following his victory and his inauguration which was held today in Osun State.

The new governor defeated the People's Democratic Party, governorship flag bearer, Ademola Adeleke, during the Osun gubernatorial election.

There was a rerun of the election slated for September 27 as a result of declaring the first election as "inconclusive" by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, which Gboyega Oyetola was declared the winner.

Though the result had not gone down well with the opposition party as they planned going to court of appeal.

Sanwo-olu in his congratulatory message said "I congratulate Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola and encourage him and his team to continue to put the needs of the people of Osun in mind, and pray that God will lead them to always make the right decision."

Sanwo-olu is expected to contest with other parties in the 2019 governorship election in Lagos State as his party,APC, is evidently known to be a stronghold and an inevitable winner of the election.

Present at the inauguration are, APC national leader, Alhaji Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Akande and other party members.
