President Buhari has reportedly landed in Kaduna State for the flag-off of the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC, Presidential campaign ahead of the February 16 Presidential election. The President landed around 4pm Nigerian time at the Airport in Kaduna. Present in attendance were the Governors of the Northern States ; Atiku Abubakar Badugu, Lagos State Governor, Akinwumi Ambode, National APC Chairman, Adams Oshiomole, to mention a few. The Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir El-rufai, was also present at the Airport to welcome the Presidency. The President is expected to flag-off the Presidential campaign ahead of the upcoming general elections and to solicit the support of the people of the State. Malam Nasir El-rufai has arrived at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium for the flag-off of the APC Presidential Campaign in Kaduna State and the opening of the Kaduna Music and Arts Festival (KADAMFEST). Malam Nasir El-rufai has gone round the stadium to thank citizens there. He has also informed them that President Buhari will be arriving Kaduna in the afternoon to formally begin proceedings.  The dignitaries have now left the stadium to go & receive the President. Before the Presidency visit to Kaduna State for the Presidential Campaign, he met with the Leadership of the People's Democratic Movement (PDM), led by Founding Chairman, Dr Farouk Abdulaziz in AsoVilla today. Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, has reportedly landed in the Sunshine State, Ondo State, today, for a flag off of the door-to-door campaign for the reelection of the Presidency, Muhammadu Buhari. The Vice President was warmly received at the Akure Airport by the State Governor, Arakunrin Odunayo Akeredolu, SAN, with smile on his face. The Governor was accompanied by the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC supporters and members of the public. Manchester United is scouting a PSV Eindhoven and  Dutch winger, Steven Bergwijn with a view to making a £25million transfer bid this month. The Caretaker manager is hoping to bring the two-cap player into the United squad to bolster his attacking ranks. The student until his death was popularly known by his nick "NASH". La Liga defending Champions and table topper, Barcelona, has reportedly confirmed that Guangzhou Evergrande has activated the buy-out clause of former Tottenham star, Paulinho. The midfielder had a dismal stint in the English Premier league at Tottenham, but he left for Barcelona for a region of €40 million in August 2017 and later opted to join Chinese giants, Guangzhou Evergrande. During his stint at the Chinese league, he was resuscitated from his poor run of form he previously had in the English league. Paulinho was signed on a season long  loan from former club, Barcelona, in July 2018. The midfielder buy-out clause has been reportedly activated, a statement that was released by the club's website, that Paulinho has joined the Chinese giants, Guangzhou Evergrande, on permanent basis. The Economic and Financial Crime Commission, EFCC, has hereby debunked the news that the Commission  has apprehended the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Onnoghen, following his trial. The Chief Justice of Nigeria was recently accused of declaring a falsehood regarding his assets. An accusation that the CJN has admitted he made mistake while declaring his real assets. Speculation surrounding Onnoghen has sprang the news of the Commission's apprehension of Chief Justice of Nigeria. At about 1 p.m today 13 January 2019, Gallant Troops of 222 Battalion Konduga on clearance patrol with the Improvised Explosive Device (IED) Scanning Team, operating along Konduga-Aulari Road,recovered Improvised Explosive Devices planted by  Boko Haram Terriorists along Kawuri-Aulari Road. Fortunately , the Improvised Explosive Devices were successfully detonated.  Meanwhile, the Air Force officers who died as a result of the crashed   Air Force aircraft  have been buried. Last respect was paid to the fallen heroes for their relentless and ruggedness in facing the deadly Boko Haram Terrorists.
