Job Title: Internal Control Officer
Location: Lagos
Job Type: Full-Time
Job Description
• Ability to manage projects when required, supervise and ensure sound internal control practices.
• Review of the statutory returns to regulatory authorities and government agencies to ensure accuracy and timely rendition.
• Administration of audit committee meeting. • Take over customers’ deposit misappropriation cases.
• Second level call over of daily transactions.
• Reconciliation of correspondent bank accounts to ensure transactions are not outstanding beyond 2 weeks and bringing the exercise up to date. Job Requirements
• BSc/HND Degree in Accounting and Economics preferably in business or finance.
• Excellent knowledge of banking/financial business operations and risk-based auditing attained in a supervising capacity through 3 to 5 years of progressive work experience with a focus on financial risk and regulatory requirements.
• Good knowledge of any banking software will be an advantage.
