Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette has made his happiness known as he predicts a strong striking partnership with fellow Arsenal and Gabon international striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang following their summer and winter moves respectively.
Lacazette cleared the doubt of the press saying the arrival of the former Dortmund striker Aubameyang to Arsenal during the winter transfer was bad for him. But he said this in response to the press assumption. Lacazette said " I never said Aubameyamg's arrival was bad for me, only people in the press said it was bad."
The French Forward has expressed his delight with the partnership with Aubameyang and he is predicting a potent partnership with him. He said " I was happy because I knew I could play with him. I didn't see Aubameyang as a rival more than a team mate, so since the beginning I was happy about his signature."
Lacazette also stressed further by saying "of course, it is good we have a good relationship off the pitch, if people are good off the pitch, on the pitch, it will easier to play."
He also discussed the relationship between him and former Arsenal Manager before his departure. He said" Wenger talked to me a lot, watched videos, and trained more."
The Arsenal striker managed to score 17 goal in all competitions in his maiden season at Emirate stadium.
He also talked about the physicality of the English Premier league. He said it took him much time to adapt to the English league and his confidence is now built for the new campaign. He said " power is the main difference, it is more powerful in england."
