Belgium and Manchester united midfielder Marouane Fellaini expressed his disappointment on failure to get to the World cup final in Moscow. He was first used as a substitute before he was later selected by manager Roberto Martinez into the starting eleven which saw him being paired with Axel Witsel.
Fellaini's Belgium was grouped with the three Lions of England which saw them top the group after three straight wins. The Belgian midfielder pay a huge role in a dramatic comeback win over Japan in the round of 16.
Belgium was later unfortunately knocked out if the 2018 world cup by France.
The Manchester united midfielder said on his twitter account about his disappointment about the unexpected exit,"so disappointed we didn't make it to the world cup final,but proud of what we have achieved as a team.
Felliani also thanked the Belgium red devils fans for their unending support.
