Premier league quadruple nominated for Fifa award

Kelvin Debryne , Eden Hazard,Mohammed Salah and Fifa golden boot winner Harry Kane have been shortlisted among the Fifa best player nominees following the just concluded Fifa world cup.

Kelvin Debryne performed excellently during last season campaign at Manchester city and also subsequently at the Fifa world cup that saw his team won the third place against the Three lions of England.

A brilliantly converted spot kick by Chelsea main man Eden Hazard was enough to seal an FA cup victory over league rivals Manchester United but Chelsea struggled to finish fifth on the Premier league table and he also played a big role by scoring few goals and assist for Belgium.

Tottenham and England forward Harry Kane was second to Liverpool's goal machine No Sallah on the Premier league score chart and he also had three goals against Panama which saw him come out as the Fifa world cup top scorer with six goals.

Cristiano Ronaldo had a successful consecutive Champions league trophies and won UEFA Champions league golden boot, though he didn't win the premier LA liga. The Juventus acquisition didn't go far at the 2018 Fifa world cup.

Liverpool super man Mohammed Salah was the top scorer at the last season as he beautifully bagged 44 goals and registered 11 assists in all competitions. He also helped Liverpool to the Champions league Final which saw his team unfortunately beaten by Champions league regulars Real Madrid.

Another player is Croatian's Luka Modric who both performed at the club and country levels. He catapulted Croatia to the Fifa world cup final but fell on France sword.

Antoine Griezmann, Kylian Mbappe and Varane are among the Fifa nominees as they massively helped France to win the Fifa world cup after 20years.

SARS at it again: Police kills 20 year old lady and her friend in Ajegunle, Lagos State.

Truth to be told, the Nigerian Police seems to be erupting war instead of being an exemplary entity of peace. They have reportedly become a thorn to all and sundry flesh in Nigeria. A murder case of a young man, Kolade Johnson, which is still reportedly fresh and Young in the hands of the Special Anti-robbery Squad, SARS, another ugly scenario has also surfaced in Ajegunle, in Lagos State. It was reported the another Innocent youth, 20year old girl was shot dead by Police in Ajegunle while the boy that was with her was also shot & fighting for his life at the hospital. It was evidently reported the deceased did not commit any crime punishable under the law. This has come as a great threat to the peace of the nation at large. In due time, more reports will be brought to you following the unpleasant incident orchestrated by the heartless killers.
