President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived his hometown, Daura, Katsina State, following a rescheduled Presidential election.
The first date was reportedly released by the Electoral Commission, INEC, which was scheduled for February 16, 2019, but was postponed due to some inevitable circumstances which was classified as logistics by the INEC boss, Yakubu Mahmoud.
The second date for the Presidential/Senate and House of Assembly elections have been scheduled tomorrow, 23 February, 2019 and March 9, 2019 respectively.
Meanwhile the President has immediately disclose his displeasure concerning the postponed elections but he has now arrived at his hometown, Daura, Katsina State, where is expected to exercise his franchise.
Prior to his departure to Katsina State, a security meeting was held in the absence of the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo.
It was reported that Osinbajo was not allowed into the meeting, which consisted the President, governors, and other security personnel of the nation.
Buhari has also warned ballot snatchers to desist as he has given directives that anyone caught should be shot in the leg and be immediately apprehended to face wrath of the law.
