It was an exciting afternoon at the FIFA World Cup 2018 during an encounter between the Confederation Cup winners (Germany) and Javier Hernandez' Mexico which ended in favour of the Mexicans.
Despite the fact that the Germans enjoyed the lion share of the possession, they still found themselves wanting at the back of the net. Thanks to the solid and matured performance of the Mexican defenders, they did everything possible to stop Joachim low Germany from sharing a point not to talk of winning the match.
Mexico had several beautiful chances against the Germans which would have made their victory an emphatic one but wastefulness was the order of the day.
Hirving Rodrigo Lozano had a splashy finish to down the Germans within the first half of the pulsating encounter.
Germany failure to call up Manchester city wing wizard Sane has in turn led to lack of killer instinct from Germany.
This FIFA World is really taking a new dimension because one enjoys the possession while the other wins. How are the mighty falling???
