Protesters rally at Philadelphia Starbucks where two black men were handcuffed and arrested for 'trespassing'

Protestors rallied Sunday at the downtown Philadelphia Starbucks where two black men were led out in handcuffs by police and accused of trespassing to decry the actions of the coffee company and the cops.
Armed with bullhorns and signs, a small group of protestors gathered outside the Starbucks on Spruce Street and demanded action in the wake of Thursday's arrests. They directed their rage at Starbucks, the police department and the workers who called the cops in the first place.

Setting the record straight.
1. The men were not arrested for using the bathroom. They were arrested for trespassing.
2. The men were at a table and were asked to leave by the employees... the men refused.
3. The police explained to the men that they were trespassing and asked them to leave... repeatedly... the men refused.

It is on camera. That narrative will never overcome the context of a video. All that can be true, and not tell the real story. Because:
They were invitees of a publically open commercial retail store. With an implied invitation to come in
      And
Everything that happened was after they were invited.
      And
People are invitees in a retail store every day and can place themselves into the shoes of the two
      And
If the asking to leave is not for some compelling reason, like overt dangerous conduct, or overt and unusual public disruption, people will never buy your list. ( By unusual I am thinking about the Soup Nazi from Seinfeld tossing for asking for crackers)

The business owner has every right to ask them to leave, if they are not conducting business there. EVERY RIGHT.
What you are telling everyone is the homeless have a right to squat in places of business and the business has no say in that situation. They are "invited" in, and are not disrupting anything. If you aren't buying, leave my store, because this is a COMMERCIAL place of business. Not a charity.
You will lose that argument 100 times out of 100 times.

They said they were waiting on a friend.
              Not homeless.
So homeless is a red herring.
The friend showed up. As they represented. So they were honest.
              Now they are costomers.
It wasn't reasonable, people wait on others all the time.

"On three different occasions the officers asked the two males politely to leave the location because they were being asked to leave by employees because they were trespassing," he said. "Instead the males continued to refuse as they had told the employees and they told the officers they were not leaving." On top of the opportunities to leave offered by the employees and the police, they politely told the police, 'You don't actually know what you're doing. You're only a $45,000 a year employee."

Why are you "quoting" the story, as if you're quoting the victims?
The store manager who called police "is no longer at that store," a Starbucks spokesperson told NBC News Monday afternoon, but did not add further detail.
REALITY, racist manager... ASKED TO LEAVE!
