Man kills 4 people in shooting at Waffle House in Tennessee

A man wearing just a coat shot and killed four people while wounding at last three others at a Waffle House in a suburb of Nashville, Tennessee.

A customer wrestled away the shooter’s rifle and the white gunman fled from the restaurant naked, police said.

The gunman was initially wearing a green jacket, police told ABC News.

Initially police said the gunman killed three people, but a fourth later died in hospital.

Police later announced they were seeking to speak to Travis Reinking, of Morton, Ill., a person of interest in connection to the shooting.

He was later spotted wearing a pair of black pants.

Pat Warner, director of public relations and external affairs for Waffle House, told ABC News it is a “very troubling” situation.

“We are sending our corporate team from Atlanta and heading to Nashville now,” Warner said. “Our thoughts are with those affected.”

The shooting occurred at a restaurant in Antioch, which is a suburb of Nashville.

In September 2017, a church in Antioch was also the scene of a shooting, where a woman was killed and eight worshippers were injured after a gunman opened fire.

Sad!!!! Corp member falls from moving commercial bus in Lagos.

At about 9:45pm on 15/04/19 a corp member fell from a moving commercial bus (danfo) along LASU-ISHERI road Lagos. He sustained severe head injury and was lying by the road side. A few eye witnessed at the scene of the incident assisted in driving him down to a nearby hospital at (Alimosho General hospital, Igando) where he was given first aid treatment. He was thereafter referred to LASUTH for further medical management that same night due to the nature of the injury he sustained. However, no one has been unable to contact the relatives or friends. Mobile phone on him can't be accessed (passworded) and has no means of identification on him. We hope the young man recovers fast from the severe head injury sustained during the ugly incident.
